Audit conducted to see if all patients suffering with cerebrovascular disease were being treated as per the updated NICE guidance TA210.

  1. MEDICAL THROMBOPROPHYLAXIS IN GERIATRIC WARDS AT HEMEL HEMPSTEAD GENERAL HOSPITAL (2005)

Audit concluded that VTE prophylaxis should be offered to all suitable in-patients of VTE thromboprophylaxis, which was incorporated in NICE guidance in 2010.
